Born in 1949 at Kyneton, Victoria, Australia.
Trevor, like most talented artists, began to show his artistic talent in his very early years. So much so, that his potential was already being realised with his first sale of a painting at twelve years of age.
Purely self taught, he continued with his painting until at the the age of nineteen years he started his own screen-painting business. At thirty years he progressed to the point where he imported art materials.
Trevor's life at this time was most hectic - painting, business and taking rock music bands on tour, the most notable being Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs. From age twenty five, he managed a one man exhibition of his paintings each year. These proved very successful. with most paintings selling in the first couple of hours.
Trevor has many paintings in private collections in Europe, U.S.A and England. Trevor is truly and international artist and one of Australia's leading exporters in the art world.
In Australia "Oprays" talents are nationally recognized with exhibits in the State Government of Victoria collections also N.S.W, and the Australia Wool Board to name but a few.
His realist-impressionist works, especially in oil, pastel and water-colors hold universal appeal in there portrayal of the true to life characters and scenes from the past and present.
Besides Art & Music, Poetry is another of his loves, he has written literally hundreds of poems expressing his feelings of his experiences and of what he sees around him.
Notable Achievements
Produces and 80 minute video tape in 1985 which was released
world wide ( this tape is now available on DVD)
called Painting for fun and profit.
Since the age of 28 has held contracts for his paintings with "Sale of the Century", "Wheel of Fortune", "Price is Right" and other shows up until they finished, spanning a period of 27 years.
